Tudor Redo

2023

This project began from the homeowner’s commitment to rehabilitate and modernize the Tudor house built in 1939 without expanding its existing footprint. From addressing storm water retention to new wallpaper in the private areas, we worked on virtually every inch of the house with an eye towards improving circulation and sunlight penetration into all rooms. A fully self-contained guest apartment over the garage increased the living space without affecting the original scale of the house or the many trees on the property. We furnished the interiors with a mixture of the client’s vintage pieces, design classics, and contemporary furniture to create a comfortable and versatile setting for the growing art collection.

This was a design-build project.
